Edit:
It appears that the "turbo to intake adapter lip" (On the bracket side) is missing a piece / broken off.
Not sure how it will keep the o-ring in place and not leak under boost.

You are correct. It is not modified. When I first looked at it, I thought the inlet end had been changed but on closer examination, it appears to be original. A side view would have changed my perspective. Sorry for the mix-up.

The sticker on top of the intake is about worth more than the intake itself.
