Gato,I'm curious:if you've been doing this type of mod for as long and as many as you say you've been doing,why haven't we heard of you before now?
I've been a member here for 3+ years and this is the first time I've heard of you.
No flames intended here,I'm just curious as to why you haven't made your service known to the board members here before as it is a worth while and relatively cheap way to remove most of a design flaw G/M put in the car.

When I started this thread I was looking for Jay's TB. I have had my GN for 10 years, and he is the man I have always associated with this mod. Now, I am not putting anyone else's work down, but he is the guy I was looking for originally. I regret that all this bull$*!t got started over my thread. I also think that it takes a low-class a-hole to flame a guy who does good work, just because he is more successful than you. My money and my parts will be going to Jay.

The problem as that a guy most board members haven't ever heard of came on and started up with the attitude.
Nobody said his work was shoddy[apparently he's done quite a few of these with good results and lots of happy people].
It was his snippy attitude,and we're not sure as to why he acted like that.
There's plenty of people out there who probably need something like this in future and from the sounds of it,he just made himself look very bad.
Why he came on like that when it was uncalled for is the question.
Maybe just having a rotten week?
Hope he posts back and straightens the record.
There's lots of business for everybody on something like this.

Fellows, thanks for the postive response. I've seen Jay's work and it is great. I know there are plenty of people that do this mod plus several others. I just offer something a little different. Pete's a good guy. Ive dealt with him many times and hes worked with me and let me bug him for alot of information when i was doing my rebuild. I think gato was just trying to start some #%$@.

Hey guys, I deal with Pete Barton all the time. He is a stand up guy, and he is not "gato". I don't think Pete even has time to get on here. If this guy wants to act like this, so be it, but don't assume ANS' involvement. If Pete knew about this, I'm sure he would set him straight. I'm not affiliated with ANS, other than being a customer, but Pete has helped me and my friends out many times, and would never make a post like that. Frankly, Pete is a very soft spoken individual, and any of you guys who have dealt with him know what I mean. Not the kind of guy to start $hit. Don't decide not to do business with ANS because of some cocky board member.

Well, I said I wouldn't post to this thread again, but since I was asked a direct question: NO! I am not gato!

I hope whoever he is was just having "one of those days," you know? I only responded to this thread to begin with because my name had already been brought up. I never once have claimed to be the "first, best, or only" to do this mod.
