Monitoring Inlet Temp

I was wondering if anyone has a thermometer or a way of monitoring the inlet air temperature after the intercooler and before the throttle body. If so, please explain where to get one or how you made it.

Relocate the MAT sensor in the up-pipe. I think Caspers Electronics sells an extension.

So is there a way to hook up a digital thermo readout to the MAT sensor?

Look at or record it on a scantool.

That would be cool. But I wonder if I could make something a little more permanent with a nice little digital readout inside the car. Perhaps a little wire thermometer placed inside the inlet tube. I'd have to make sure it was in there secure though.. Don't want it blowing around inside the engine..
