The Chinese do love their Buicks.

It all began when GM pumped

a lot of Buicks into China after WW2.

Held in high esteem since.

I do believe that was before WW2. The Emperor used Buicks exclusively until the communists kick him out shortly after the war ended. GM reintroduced Buick to China in 1998 when they merged with Shanghai Motors. If you really want to be mad at China take a look at their version of the LaCrosse compared to ours.

We get the Lucerne and the LaCrosse

They get rear wheel drive V8's and names like Park Avenue and Riviera, we get front wheel drive Buicks named Lucerne and Lacrosse. Buick says their American Customers want front wheel drive. That Generation of Buick owners are near dead. My grandfather for one drives a frontwheel drive Buick my mother in her late 60's a Regal front wheel drive.

It is almost criminal, isn't it?

What idiot research group is providing them with such misinformation? I'd like to set them straight. I want a rwd, coupe with a v-8 or at least a turbo v-6 that has room for 5 or so and a trunk to carry the essentials(Slicks and a jack). What part of that doesn't Buick understand?
