Moser axles installation

Installing these in a week or so. Anything I need to know? Or is it just pull dif cover and c clips and pull it out

Pull the cover, unscrew the center pin bolt, pull the pin, push the axles in to unseat the c-clips, pull axles out. Reverse.

Use a mag pickup to to ease c clip removal. Replace axle bearings and seals as well.

ditto on the magnet, and reinstall the pin if you will not immediately be putting the axles back in, do not rotate anything with the cross shaft out !

Put Mosers in my car last spring. I went ahead and replaced the bearings/seals as well. Rent a slide hammer from Autozone to pull the bearings, makes it very simple. Make sure to use a new cross pin bolt, do not re-use the ones that comes out (if it comes out in one piece). Use Dorman 81048, only $1.39 @ RockAuto.

As far as fluid synthetic works fine but I still prefer lucas and the GM posi additive.

I'd replace new pin, seals and bearings along with synthetic fluid. Rockauto.com has AC, Dorman etc at great prices

Hey Charlie. Not to bad just tryin to get her ready for spring. Just got my trans back from Lonnie
