Went and saw Motley Crue last night at the Gas Monkey Garage / Fast and Loud live concert venue in Dallas. It was sponsored by Dodge and had to have a Dodge vehicle to get in. This place was the size of a large bar, maybe around 2000-2500 people max.
Check out their entrance to the event, arriving in the new Dodge Hellcat Challys. We were in front of Mick's car, but this video is much better than the one I took.

Man, all of that is so cool! Glad you had a good time and heard the group....

how cliche.

Excellent! Hot rods and heavy metal!

They arrive this Thursday in north MS with good friend Alice Cooper. I look forward to it!

It was a great time! You had to purchase a "car show" ticket" for $100 and submit a pic of your car for Gas Monkey to approve your car for the show, and when you showed up, you got your $100 back, and you got to bring 1 guest. I let another Buick bud submit with my truck and it was accepted also as well as my Chally, then had another friend with a SRT Charger, so 6 of us rolled to there. 850+ cars, and that was supposedly the only way to get in the show. So it was free for all of us except for beer!

They rocked, but being a 33 year old band, Vince's voice just ain't what it was, but I've seen them once or twice in the last 15 years. Mick could barely get in and out of the car, notice his car did not partake in the drifting.

Unbelievably, I met some folks with their SRT10 truck there that came all the way from New York in their truck, folks parked next to us were from Missouri, and group beside them from Illinois, couldn't believe how far these folks came, didn't realize it was such a big event. They did have a pair of Chally Hellcats you could get a ride in down about a 700' straight away blast was all with a driver, and a Viper drifting course you could ride with a driver on…but the lines were too long to wait and since you didn't get to drive wasn't really interested. Did get to sit in a Charger and Chally Hellcat to see how my next car fits :)
