Thanks for everyones advice. I talked to the lady at HR Parts and ordered a set. Apparently they don't have a lot on hand at the moment,so it will take about 2 weeks.
Not to hijack my own thread...but in reading about what you guys wrote about poly body cushions,I have the complete Energy set and installed them a few years ago.
I noticed that the car stiffened up just a little to probably how it felt new. Some of my stockers were split. I'm glad I installed them. They are red, which looks a little funky, but oh well. No regrets.
The absolute WORSE ride "upgrade" I did was to install Bilstein shocks on the front. After slamming over NY state bumps for over a year,I took them off and replaced them with KYB's. I didn't like how my cars front end was slamming bumps and shaking everything.
Those Bilsteins were so stiff,I had to use a JACK to compress them up to the lower control arm to get the bolts in! On the drivers side, the nut clips actually stripped out. I don't even think they were shocks. They were more like a steel rod. Maybe I got jipped!
No Bilsteins for me again. Maybe if the roads were super smooth.
