I am doing a hybrid of a stage I motor into my 67 Chevy II Nova. I have an 016 block and I am looking to see if anyone has used a motor-plate on their cars, and where it mounts to on the engine. I am looking for some pics, so I can get some ideas, and go from there. If you can helpout, shoot me an email.

Thanks

Are you looking for a front or rear plate? The rear goes in between the tranny and the engine mounting it to the frame. There are several ways to mount it to the front.

I have a mid-plate for the car already. I am wondering do they mount the front motor-plate to the timing cover? I have a front plate, but wasn't sure if it was to mount between the timing cover and waterpump? Your thoughts?

You can either mount them to the heads or you have to cut the timing cover down to put it between the cover and the block. That's the only 2 ways I know of.
