Maybe, a little background info would help.. Is this on your 10 speed, your mower, or your car??

Assuming this is on the GN, are rear gears stock, is the speedometer reading low or high by 10 mph? what size tires on the rear?

go to a speedo shop and buy a reducer.

Gee I wonder where we could go with THAT sentence. :o LOL

Back to the topic, give us your rear gear ratio and tire size, and if you can, pull the speedo driven gear out, look inside the trans for the drive gear, and tell us your current combination of gear colors.

my speedo is off by about 10mph what should I do? Thanks.

And is this with the stock reading 85 mph speedometer or is there a 145 overlay over the stock 85 mph speedo. If there is a 145 overlay on there then you will need the (speedo reducer) to correct it, or have it properly calibrated to read the correct mph.(Assuming stock gears and tire height)
