I know if I added 9 to 15 degrees of Mr Freeze timing (like they suggest ), I'd spray the crowd with hot, broken, engine parts.

Did anyone see a pump on that setup? Couldn't really tell, maybe it had a washer pump on there but thats about all I could imagine it having.

Doesnt appear to be any electrical. So it works by boost pressurizing the tank.. this pressure in turn then makes the system deliver the 50/50 mix into the motor.

I cant see any real consumption as to the way it operates.

Dont you love Dyno sheets.. funny thing they say using the product will result in a loss of HP without retuning.

Which is the oppositte of how AI works. You shoot small amounts of alky and the motor will pickup RWHP.

Then they retuned and got 115 HP.

More power to them.

Yes it is pressurized by boost pressure.It is designed to spray at the blower/turbo INLET so that it does not have to overcome boost pressure in the up pipe.Does the same thing from what I can tell and would truly be progressive as the spray would rise with boost I think.

I have a book about turbocharging that has illustrations of designs like this from way back in the day.

Never said I haven't given it a second thought from time to time.

My main curiosity is how the new kits are working with methanol.I think methanol is a much better fuel than denatured.Wasn't that long ago you could not use methanol without ruining an alky kit.

I have been entertaining the idea of running a PTE stock location and a methanol based kit on my car to make it kind of a sleeper.I am still on the fence about it.I am waiting to see how my buddy Rob Downey(2quik6) likes his kit.He is the only one I know around here using a PAC.So far he has had a few non kit related problems and until those are resolved we will not know exactly how much it has helped.So far he likes it and has said the quality is very good.

I am mainly interested in the idea of methanol on top of 116 at high boost...say 30# for intercooling effect.

*We* used that concept in the late 70s when doing a R+D job for turbocharging a foreign car, for an OEM. They use boost to pressurize the bottle, which then blows the Alky into the *intake* side of the turbo. Trouble is the droplet size can have dire effects on the compressor wheel.
It was a blow thur carb in the early stages, and there were so many problems, they halted work on it until the swtich to EFI, and with the EPA, to meet emissions, the boost was reduced to such a low level the Alky was dropped.

IMO, you'd do alot better just saving up from something proven like Razor's kit.

I dont think its cheap to ask if anyone has tried this on a GN.Rick at Anderson Ford Motorsport is highly respected and well known in the Ford industry.All his parts are top notch.So I dont think its being cheap, I think its smart to look at different options and ask ?'s before buying.Thanks,Tony

Why dont you call them and ask them if they've sold any of these to a Grand National application.

I've never seen or heard of a GN with one of these.

Why dont you buy it and post back your results
