Guys/Gals,

I have a laptop that has Windows 2000 NT(which will not run Direct Scan) can it be deleted and another Windows version be installed (3.1, 95, 98), or far as that goes DOS v6. which will run DS?

if you've got an ALDL cable you could try to use WinALDL, it's free software. Hate to format needlessly, quite honestly it takes a ton of time. http://winaldl.joby.se/
If you're handy with a soldering iron, you can wire a cable up for cheap if you havn't gotten one yet.

You can use DirectScan with that laptop. You will just have to do everything from a floppy. Unless it is formatted FAT.
