Bo,
If we're going to do this GP thing, let's get'er done ASAP as I really need a new set of tires mounted and ballanced before BG. How many buyers do we need for a GP?

My point was that since most people on this board are running TR's and they like a 28 inch tire that you may not get enough buyers or interest for a 26 inch.

I think you would get more responses for the 28's

" Any tire"... including 28" So if you want in lemme know.

Turbov6joe, I am ready to purchase anytime. If you could help me out a little and ralley up some troops, we can make this happen.

I will get a hold of Tom and find out all the details, but for now we need some buyers besides ourselves.

Thanks,
Bo

Bo,
At this point I don't have any other interested parties for the M&H's....what do you want to do?

I am moving into my new house in a few days , so it will have to be after that; however, I will get a hold of Tom and see what he can do for us.

I know you need them before BG... when is the event in BG?

Bo

Also, lemme know what tire you are interested in.

I think we can get the 26x10.5x16 cheater slick with the sticky compound made if you wanna try it. I certainly am.

Lemme know
Bo

I spoke with Tom in great detail about the different compounds they offer, and what he told me came as a shock....the ONLY difference between the compunds they offer is that the "Muscle Car Drag" tires which are more of a "street" tire, if you want to call them that, have an anti-ozone compound inpregnated into them to prevent drying....other than that Tom said they're basically all the same. I would like to try the cheater slicks in a 26x11.5x16 if you they can have them delivered to me no later than Friday of this week....that leaves me the weekend to get 2 tires dismounted and the new ones mounted/ballanced before I leave for BG. Let me know as soon as possible what the deal is or feel free to call me at 913-294-5817 with the details and I'll call you back on my dime.

a buddy of mine already has them on his twin turbo stang...

he has conections ;)

Anyone else see "hot" in shot as a link to a romance site? I've been chasing down some problems since my daughter used my PC and I wonder if I have a virus thats parsing my websites and inserting links at random.

No such link here. Sounds like you have some serious problems.

Did you run the update in Adaware? I've seen what you are referring to before, and I know it's nothing more serious than spyware.

On a related note, wonder how many street miles the MT Radials are good for....

Yes, updated prior to scanning.

Not sure on how long they last, but my pal Rich cut a 1.55 on them, so they do hook :)

Bo,
At this point I'm starting to sweat the tire thing as I'm running out of time. What are the odds this thing can get done and the tires be delivered before the weekend.....NOT with my luck as of lately! Since I work nights (11p-9a) and don't have access to my email untill I get to work and everyone else is sleeping, get a hold of me by phone anytime after 4pm Central Time. 913-294-5817....thanks!

Heard anything yet?

I've phoned Mickey Thompson AND M&H direct and these tires ared definately not ready yet so forget about them for a while.

I wanted some for the GS Nats, b ut it's too late now. At this stage, i'm going to wait for others to get and use them in the next couple months because something must be wrong and they are having problems producing them. Maybe they will turn out to be crap. I've had great luck with BFG Drag Radials so I'll stick with them until something is proven better by guys actually running them. Paul
