Muffler repack ?

I have a ATR 3" SS exhaust with the straight pipe in the muffler. The welds on the pipe inside the muffler broke loose and most of the material is gone. I was wondering if anyone knows of anything I can use to put back in there and then I'll have the pipe retacked in place. Is motorcycle muffler repack my only option?

Stainless steel wool works good. Google it. Might just want to step up to a better designed Walker SS Ultra-Flow. They are a direct replacement. Check Jegs or Summit.
