what do you all use to download music nowadays...
kazaa?
morpheous?

havent had anything for a while and just wondering what still works

there are a few CDs that i need to backup that i just bought

I agree Kazaa sucks. I use limewire. Its free and simple to use.

to get full albums in one shot nothing beats mirc....use like www.ircspy.com or www.packetnews.com or www.xdccspy.com to find what you're looking for

and on top of that it's great to download that at close to 500k/s

ok i got MIRC and like packet news for the amount of songs it yields

but how do i download them...?

i get into the mirc window and a new one pops up but i dont know how to download anything!
please help

Thats what I use. WinMX is good for music but not for movies of any type. Movies are always 100 deep qeued it seems.

Ok simple, in packetnews website just click on the number of the pack you want...you will then connect to the appropriate channel, then at the bottom where you can enter your dialogue just right-click and paste...then just click enter, if there's an open slot for you you will receive a get file window just accept and the file will start to download...if there's no available slot you'll be placed in a queue.

The key to success is to choose bots with high download bandwitch and the ones who have the highest number of downloads completed (gets). Those are the ones who are the more often online.

I've been using Kazaalite and am very happy with it. It's like Kazaa, but there is no adware or spyware with it.
