This is a big deal! Not everyone can have TR as a daily driver.

ER, I mean, not everyone can have a "me-too" mustang that drives 9's with no A/C that they seldom drive.

There is a guy in South Florida with a Mustang that runs 9's! This is a big deal. I think the NHRA is going to creat a special "a$$clown" class just for this guy.

And the new magazine "I have a mustang too!" is doing a 10 page article on why this guy should be named "I have a mustang too" driver of the year.

You got to the meeting late, but before you got there my buddy was there with HIS 9 second Cobra. Well, it'd run 9's if he ever took it to the track and if he put a real clutch in it. 609 HP at the rear wheels. But unlike Shoulda, he's actually APPRECIATIVE of our cars and loves mine. Other than the mudflaps. He HATES the mudflaps.

BTW, why were you there at the SFTBC meeting at the stake and shake last weekend? I thought you had to work Saturday nights?

Oh, I forgot to tell you, you are slow. You and your GN. My buddy Greg runs 9's in his mustang.

Thats ok, I'm SURE it isn't as "stock appearing" as shouldahadmorelovefromhisparents' Mustang, therefore tell your friend he sucks......

It's got a bunch of aftermarket stuff, along with some factory stuff, but it run's low 9's OK.

Nothing wrong with a Mustang, even a 9 sec one. But the mystique comes into play with the TB's because it's a 3.8 l 6. That is why people who know are so in awe of it. It's just a damn good package and is such a sleeper. That and to those who should know, it makes them feel inadequate to know that little six can make 'em sweat when at a stop sign with them., lol,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,Mark

Actually GN's ARE sleepers.

Only real men know what they are. Most young kids, biatches and gays don't know what they are.

Case in point; ShouldofhadaV-8's comments that "at car shows, there are more people around his mustang then he ever sees around GN's/TR's".

Most people don't know what GN's/TR's are. But, becuase so many kids and ladies have mustangs, they at least know what kind of car it is. Most people still think my GN is a Monte Carlo.

Take my work for instance, out of 750 cars in our parking garage, there is a ton of mustangs; mostly chick-car V-6's. With a few GT's. No cobras of any year. No old G-bodies of any kind. And my one GN.

I totally disagree. Most kid/ricers have gotten schooled by a Gn or know someone that has been. people in my area know what they are. Girls don't count anyway. I believe most people around here can point out a Turbo regal too. Now take away that hood and now they have no idea. true they don't know anything about them except that they are fast as hell.

Well of course; you are from Pittsburgh. My family is from Philly. I know what you mean. You learn how to drive by doing donuts in parking lots to old Van Halen songs!

But this is South Florida. We are talking Boca Raton and Miami here... You know, 2 Fast 2 Furious...why do think they shot it down here instead of in "steel-town"...
