I found the circuit that is causing the problem. It is the radio and clock, door locks , horn, dome light circuit. Also sometimes at night when Im driving the tail light fuse blows. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Check the dome light wires. I had two basically short out against one another up there. There are two orange wires that almost touch and have shrink tubing on the bare ends of them just above the bulb. Mine were nice and toasty brown. I removed, reshrink tubed, and all was well. I was losing the ECM/SOL fuse.

One way to trace it down is to look up under the dash up high and look for a white gang box with orange wires going to it. Unplug everything going into that gang box. Then replace the fuse and turn on the key, turn on everything that would normally be on when the problem occurs. If the fuse doesn't blow, you've found the circuit. Then plug them back in one at a time. The moment you plug something in and the fuse blows, that's the one with the problem. Track it down and fix the problem.

just a shot in the dark here but....have a look at the console...the bulb for the shift indicator light melts the plastic bulb"holder"...sometimes the wire gets pinched on the shifter....the power wire that hooks to the light...is on that circut!...ya never know! joe:D
