My car was purchased by my brother in the Fall of 1999 from a dealership called Kassabian Motors. After that he tried to do stuff such as a K&N filter, some bigger injectors and headers, followed by a new turbo later on. After a couple of years owning and loving the car (and also doing a lot of work on it), the car was stolen in January of 2002. The day before, he was working on getting an exhaust leak fixed the next day, so the car wasn’t running well, and the alarm didn’t work very well that night so someone decided to hit our house. My mom and I the next morning so I could go to school (I was a Junior at the time) and we noticed the car was gone and my mom asked if Josh (my brother) had already brought the car to the shop, and I said I didn’t think so. From that time on, when I was at school, I had a feeling it was gone and gone for good. When I got home my mom confirmed it and I was probably more upset than my brother, because he was actually trying to sell it. Right when I got the news, I hopped on my bike and went looking, although I never found it. We figured it was gone due to the fact that it was a Grand National so we tried to forget it. About six months later, I got home from school and was told that the car was found in Oakland with the motor out of another stolen Grand National, a maroon interior from a Regal Limited, and 17 inch Camaro IROC rims. My parents asked me if I wanted the car, and if I said yes, I was in charge of restoring it to original condition. Of course, I said yes. After that I started saving money (and still am) for it, and the project is still under construction, but is coming closer very quickly. I am definitely looking forward to the next few months, as it should be running sometime in there. That’s pretty much my car’s story so far, but I will keep you posted as stuff happens.

Sorry about it being so long. ENJOY!!!

man its great to see one of these stories with a decent ending. Its cool that you wanted to take the time and effort to put this car back together. Good luck with it and get a really good alarm. Be sure to take pics so we can see the process:cool:
