Your father yesterday ran 5.68- 127.57 at Irwindale last night.

Damn, that's quite an accomplishment.
Was that with your twin turbo setup on your website?

You know, if my dad went that fast doing anything I think he would have a heat attack! :eek:

The first pass got my attention. I estimate the boost was 30-35# I wasn't used to the car & after the burn out there was so much smoke inside I could hardly see the track. I had to lift twice & ran 6.02 @ 119. One of the turbos
seals went out to add to the smoke & confusion. Second pass I turned the boost down & then was able to get down the track but still skateing at the other end, I never knew that 5,6 seconds could feel so long. Any way the car has alot left in it & guessing the next time out to run about a 5,20 @ 132. Right now I want no part of running the 1/4 yet till we get all the issues figured out.

Yes it is. Yes I am on heart medication & viagra also . I use the viagra so I dont pee on my shoes.

Car info- 350 SBC 9-1 J&E pistons,600 lift roller cam & rockers,production block & crank from a 70 chevy p.u. aluminum rods,AFR 210 off the shelf 23 degree heads, Chevy intake coverted to F.I. 160# injectors, Motec management & 67 inovative turbos. 8 qt pan, 1000 cfm t/body.huge spearco front mount & dawson headers.Dynoed at 1200 H.P. Engine was built in 99 & has had a hard life & held up very well to this point. Trans -400th 5500 stall, 33x17 goodyears & 4.11 diff. car wieght is 3300# All work done in house & many hours invested. The orginal intention was a fast street car & ran 9.02 at Carlsbad untubbed years ago. It has now been back halfed but stil is a handful.

Just be carefull. I heard that going that fast can sling the Armor-All right off your tires :D . Let us know next time your running that thing. I'll try and go. I've been meaning to run my 72 VW bus. It's 25s capable ya know :eek: .
