So I haven't posted on the forums much in the past years but figured maybe somebody in here would enjoy it. I used to post in this section 15+ years ago but sadly my dads 85 GN has mostly sat with me starting it every few weeks and doing some minor maintenance over those years. My dad redid the interior himself 5 years ago but that's been about the extent. I recently brought it into town to work on while my personal GN is down with an engine refresh. I installed the following items and learned a lot about single stage paint restoration. I ended up installed the following
New racetronix 255 fuel pump,
Yukon posi unit
Rebuilt the 200-4r with a billet input shaft and billet forward drum, dual fed with a CK shift kit.
New ac compressor
New belts and hoses
New vacuum lines
“Custom” CAI with behind the headlight filter
Fuel filter
Paint correction
Water and oil temp gauges
New methanol pump
6.1 turbo tweak chip, AEM wideband and powerlogger.
Hope you enjoy. I do plan on installing some longer wheel studs this weekend and some small spacers to run some TTA wheels with MT radials on them to get the 60 ft better and hopefully pull a 12.7 or so on the street. Ill post an update video Sunday or Monday
