He s been getting the run around for at least 18 months from the body shop. paid 14 grand up front to have this

car ready for paint. The guys lot is overflowing with cars and he s got 2 people working for him. Nice. My

buddy is going to try and get a finish date in writing.... then take his ass to court if its not met. For the last few

months all this guy says is "its got about 8 to 10 hours of work left".

Anyway the point of this post is I had a little trouble with a part bought from a vendor on this board, and

because of this vendors reputation on this board i purchased a transmission from him. To say the least his

customer service did not dissapoint.

So I would just like to thank Lonnie from extremeautomatics and while I'm at it Nick from AZGN has been

awesome as well. Thanks guys. Sometimes we forget how good we have it with these vendors.

I was in a similar situation a few years ago... I Paid a guy up front for body and paint, and it took him over a year to complete what was only supposed to take a month. I'll never pay for work i need done up front again!

I could see a deposit but am I reading this correctly?...14k up front?. No way man.

I never get tired of body shop stories. I know it goes both ways problem wise or payment wise. I took a car around years ago to get quotes for paint and no rust cutout repairs needed. Lowest was 6500 highest was 11500 ish. 6 months minimum. Yeah, not happening.
