I have so many issues with my paint so I decided to hide the blemishes as best as I can. Im in the process of wetsanding and buffing. I havent done this in years and still trying to get the hang of it.

looks like your doing good. What's up with the tape other then protecting the molding? Are you using a 3m compound? Also what grit are you final sanding with?

good luck.... i had to repaint a door and the rear bumper after sanding though a layer of clear with pearl in it.. be careful..... i was using 1500 i think

Im using 2000grit and doing it with a great deal of patience. I only want to bring the shine back. I can still see some battle scares but its ok. She is a driver and I dont want to paint her knowing Ill never drive it after that. :(

I bought some polish from the paint store, its a cutting agent and takes out scratches from 1200 grit. Its made by meguiars and was 40 dollars a bottle. Saved a lot of sanding brought out a decent shine, will need to use a finer polish and a foam pad for the final polish. Just another route to go if you get tired of sanding
