This project has been wayyy more than I’ve expected but I’m glad I did it. Just waiting on my Casper harness to come in & a few more other parts. 1FAAFB75-8AE4-43D8-A9F3-FF8C0A3F5784.jpeg1C0FD855-AEB7-4C19-A5FF-4DA3760BEC0A.jpeg0C04E09F-E7AA-4BD9-98B1-5EDDF489DF3C.jpeg

Looks great, do you have any pictures of how you overcame the k-member, I know there was lots of issues I have seen getting the stock oil pan to fit without modifying the pan or the k-member, I have been wanting to do this in an s-10 extreme for a long time, that was one reason to stop me, any help or pictures would be helpful.

again great looking project

Sure, I just notched a section out.. & welded in some 1/4” plates ... first time welding so judge me... pan looks close but I cut out a little more ..5EE9B1DE-92E3-4586-9FE8-4762E4619EA9.jpeg65CDF693-D5EA-4758-8599-05A2EF29715D.jpeg

Welds look fine to me, that's easier then I thought, my project might come sooner than later, lol, hey another question how about the mounts? Did you make custom ones, or did you find aftermarket swap ones? Thanks

Man finding mounts were hard as shit & no one makes them for the Buick v6 just the 4.3 v6 & all the v8’s. So I made those too from angle iron & flat bar.1608E877-94A2-46E6-AB82-D43A43C73E7F.jpegA3F999C8-2C77-4DC6-BA04-165FAD5A9DCE.jpeg53085DE5-262B-46BE-B402-1042AE54AFD1.jpeg

Ok, I figured that did a bunch of research, I have seen something similar done before, they look good, the existing mounts on the frame, were those from a 4.3 ? Or was that a 4 cylinder? Or did you put your own body mounts in?
Sorry for the questions, just very interested in this, and you got some good pictures ,thanks

Np @ all. They are the stock mounts from the 2.8 I pulled out. Glad I can be of some help. I had one guy from here help me w/a few things & everything else I just had to figure out.

Great thanks last thing,(for now) the Trans mount? Custom? Also rear end is it a GN rear or the s-10 one with posi? Any extra pics would help, I'm good with the wiring, I did a hybrid Rx-7 before, which came out great

Get one from advance adapters B.O.P Buick Oldsmobile Pontiac to Chevy. I have done the rear end yet put I plan on pulling a 8.5 out of one of the Chevy blazers , it’ll bolt right up. Post some pics once you start, would like to see your progress.

Ok will do, so you are not using the 200r4 in your truck? Going 350 or 400?
Thanks (are the blazer ones posi units?)
