i'm in the trenches right now for my 1980 regal project. i'm done my little brainstorm and now it's down to a money thing and time thing... time to wait. the payoff will be well worth it, though many of you guys might not see eye to eye with my ideas, but in true 0-90 dan fashion, it will be laid out on the cheap and somthing not seen ever on a regal. i think however buick should have made one just for kiks, they didn't so i will.... while i battle my build, i relax and kik it with my wifes done for the summer plastic plant pots. i don't want to store them cause i don't have room so i made something usable. while i'm showing my cruizer, please keep in mind that this is my DD, and my favorite is always the one i drive at the moment. enjoy some pics of my hotrod stand in.... inside and out.
the shine is not greasy, just clean. i call it my waterles engine detail... quite popular with the older crowd when they don't think electronics should be anwhere near water.
the center consol is the real deal and the only one in existance and as far as i have been told, it's outside the relm of normal. not bad for hand made, i think anyway.
the last is my lastest putter spree. trying to stay out of the shop is impossible for me. i need my mind relaxed. thinking of useful ways to keep buisy, i discovered why i have my shop.... my way. my way means anything goes. so in true hotrodder fashion, i equipped my DD, my astro van, with something i have been thinking about for a long time.... a functional ram air induction system! but not just any system, cause they don't make them, at all. no, no, see, i'm poor so i need it free. so i ponder it for a while (months) and one day i looked at these plastic pots. now i'm just pushing a broom at this point when i look at this pot i see my ram air system flash by my eyes and it's gone. so i grabbed the awful (ofal) blade and some scissors...lol not gonna let this idea pass me by. this was the end result. yes it works.... to well infact.
that's my ride in a nutshell, but different enough to call it so. have a good one all
i was going to finish it today but it turned snarky out.
