My turbo conversion

OK fella's here it is. It's out of my 82 El Camino. Got a 83 draw through 4 barrell setup to install on it.Motor supposedly had 90,000 on it. but now it is obviosly been opened up before unless the factory marked connecting rods. Anyways on a limited budget can't afford new pistons. Thinking new main and connecting bearings.clean out the cam windows new rings and hone job, and spend some money on a valve job. What kind of cam and timing chain should be used?. I want this to be a daily driver. Also have been told to install a knock sensor any pics of where to install?

but it goes at the back of the block, towards the passengers side. Might be a plug there already. I think it's 1/8npt.
