Been having a smoking problem with my car at idle and decel, at various times. Tonight I took the turbo off (Limit TE45A), and disassembled it. I some decent side to side play, sounded weird, like squishy sounding. No in and out play though. But there was oil in both sides of the turbo. There was oil around the compressor housing, and between that cup thingy and the center section on the exhaust side. I'm assuming that was my blue smoke at idle problem. You can stick your finger in the compressor outlet and theres a film of oil in there. So I guess its junk? Why would this happen? This turbo has maybe 1500 miles on it, and was used with a turbo saver.
