Wow!! Thats a nice rebuild! looks factory fresh! Good luck.

Very Nice

The Smile On That Dudes Face Says It All.. He Is Happier Than A Pig In ****.. I Would Be Too....great Job!!!!!!!!!!

looking good. whats the specs on the build?

Nothing fancy, but I think I put too big of a cam in it.

bored 0.30 over
reconditioned rods
3 angle valve job
Comp 212-212 cam
100# valve springs
ported intake

I ended up putting a double roller timing chain on also.

I'll be starting off with the stock turbo for now. :(

Now splash some oil on the pan so it looks like a real Buick motor:D
Nice job, I think you're gonna feel a big difference comming from the hot air community.

I have a Lunati 212/212 cam and have never had a problem at all from it.

Looks great, I noticed something though that might help down the road.

See the pic below.

What brand/color paint did you use for valve covers, etc...?

Wow that looks great! You will definitely enjoy it, just don't get scared the first time you hear the compressor surge.. ;)

i used vht flat aluminum and it is the same color as rob 350 used and the vht is good to 2000*. used eagle one etching mag cleaner to get grease oil oof the valve covers and timing cover so far and painted them with the vht. you can see the dirty alternator and tentioner and the painted valve covers and timing cover.
