n/a 3.8+boost

hey i got a 3.8 with some upgrads but i am wanting to boost it and i am thinking a small turbo i am shooting for like 250-300 hp mark and i saw a nice build in the muscle car review of a gail banks 3.8 he made his real wicked
but i was wondering if i would need a special carb or if my edelbrock would work ?

i have a 79 carb turbo setup for 125 plus ship
you will need a downpipe but have manifolds,crossover,intake,turbo,carb
air cleaner,distrubuter with timing box
