Where exactly is the O2 sensor on a NA V6? Is it on the right exhaust manifold or on the crossover pipe?

Thanks!

OK, Thanks.

Here's an idea. The 79/80 exhaust manifold are much larger than the 81-87's. Here are some pictures, check the bottom photo. (They are of Turbo manifolds, but the NA are similar.)

Swicthing should be easy. The only difficuties I foresee are connecting to the convertor and the oxygen sensor (assuming emissions compliance). Maybe for the oxygen sensor a bung could be welded in the crossover as near to the stock location as possible.

Has to be cheap and easier than aftermarket headers. :)

on my exhaust manifold the o2 sensor is located right above where the the crossover connects.are the manifolds in your pictures for turbo cars?because the o2 sensor locations are in a different place.

Yes, those are turbo manifolds, but the NA peices are the same size diameter. The turbo and NA share the same drivers side.

The oxygen sensor could just be moved to after the NA's manifold/crossover joint. It's easier to weld a bung in steel Vs. cast iron.
