The Ramones

Rainbow

The Tubes

Boston

All 70's folk. :)

Don't blame any of them for the crap music of the 80's. ;)

Sorry to disagree but I know Boston put out some stuff in the 80's and so did Rainbow. It just wasn't that popular.

By the way,
You might think the Mamma's and the Pappas, the Carpenters, or Neil Diamond are the best band/performers out there, but I was born in a little later.

In my mind metal from the 80's will always rule.
Not that Warrent,Bonjovi,GreatWhite,Poisen,White Lion- glam crap ;)

In fact there are several successful new bands that emulate the same sound as an 80's rock band.

But I still like some of the old stuff like Buddy Holley,Jerry Lee Louis,Beach Boys,Beatles. Not that I want to hear it all the time.

Hey the Rolling Stones put out music in the 80's but they're a 60's band.

Just dating them, lotsa bands last over many decades. :)

80's music would be rather boring and barren if it weren't for all the 70's bands still making good music. :D

If you have a successful 5 decade career like Neil Diamond you don't need recognition for your 80's accomplishments. ;)

That's true...

But Neil Diamond ** BARF**

I now have to clean my key board.

I'd like to cram that song of his
Coming To America DOWN HIS THROAT!!!
