The Regal trans mount is very flimsy and my motor was flopping around, so I decided to get the mount from the GTP. There is a hydraulic and a solid style. After reading around, solid seemed like the best choice. I ordered one from NAPA like was suggested.
At NAPA, the solid mount was a special order, so I had to pay an extra $5 for shipping. Turns out it was shipped from thier local warehouse with all the regular stock.
Get home, open the box and it's the wrong part. Right box, wrong part. Call up the local warehouse and have them check the others - all the same. Hydraulic mounts with solid part numbers.
Turns out that Advanced, Autozone, Checkers, etc. all carry Pioneer Products which look exactly the same as the NAPA part. NAPA just reboxes them and they can't even get that right. I order the solid mount from Advanced Auto, #622712, and get the right part. Makes a big difference in motor movement.
I took the hydraulic mount back to NAPA and got a refund. I'm still out the $5 shipping for thier mistake.
No more trips to NAPA for me.
