is going to air a special, on street raceing and teens, looked like a bmw was about to deck another car, just in case your interested these are the idiots screwing it up for the rest of us

Yup. Dateline is one of the worst shows on TV. If they can't find any thruth to a topic they wanna talk about, they just make it all up. They probably paid a bunch of people to go out and make these street racing vids so they have some material. Anyone remember the GM truck gas tank fire fiasco? In their testing, they couldn't get the trucks to catch fire, so they rigged up pyrotechnic devices in the filler doors in order to "achieve the desired result". GM found the test trucks in the scrap yards with the ignitors still in them and got NBC by the balls big time. Sad thing is GM had enough evidence that they could have OWNED NBC, but instead just made them apologize on the show. Idiots. Ok my rant is over.

hell here in miami, 60 minutes once had a special about raceing and the dangers only they did'nt quite tell the guys they were filming the truth, one of them was and still is a firefighter with a gn 60 minutes encuraged him to race against a mustang just to show how fast his gn was and it was fast ( this was back in 90-92 i believe he was running low 11s back then) anyhow they took the tape and cut it to such a manner that it looked like he not only raced a mustang but other cars as well, and said it was street raceing, but this was done in saga bay homestead that was nothing but swamp land back then, well it almost cost him his job, and all in the name of ratings, like always

Just a little inside info., a Fireman that was on scene called one of the HotRod Magazine Editors, and explained what he saw. The editor made some calls to some contacts at GM, who then hired the detectives to find the remains.

Or so I heard :)
