My trans in my 87 turbo t is already starting to slip again in 2nd gear, just like it did about a year (approx. 4000 miles ago if that) and a half ago, before i spent a fortune on a rebuild (or a so-called rebuild, who knows).
I'm trying hard not to switch over to the th400, but it is tempting.
I've been doing some searches on these forums and have only come up with ckperformance and dynotech so far. but they are a little far from me.
i want to drive the car there, and pick it up a week or two later with it ready to go. the car runs in the 12s, and i like to get on it a bit when i drive. i drive it about twice a week.
i'd like to get one that's gonna last and hold up to me getting on it once in a while.
it has a 2800 stall pat's converter in it.
i'm in philly. anyone have any suggestions? any help is greatly appreciated. thanks!
