need a picture

can someone do me a big favor and take a picture of rear speaker board where the 3rd brake light sits i need the picture to be with the 3rd brake off so i can see how the bracket is installed onto that board much appreciated thanx

If you flip the bracket around you will see that it only fits into the light one way properly....then center the bracket on the frame and bolt it down...vinny

i got that figured out but what i dont get is y the board doesnt sit up higher against the bottom of the brake light right now having the bracket bolted down with the 3rd brake light on it i can see the bracket because the board sits lower so im trying to see why the board isnt up against the base of the assembly for a clean look is there shims that belong in between the sheetmetal and the boare to raise it to the base for a clean look? how is ur speaker board cut where the 3rd brake light goes?

no i dont i didnt even know there was insulation backing between there its my first time messing with that area of the car that explains why its sitting lower and not touching the base of the 3rd brake light what kind of backing is used there ? how thick? and where can i buy it?

I would go to a junk yard and take the three sections from another g-body car. If not get them from g-body parts
