Yep, i just did some checking and found out the same thing. Thanks
So its for sale if you are looking still. make me an offer.
Because it's a stock D5 and it's never been out of the car. So it's got to be working fine. I just want to go with more stall then stock. I'm the only person that has even ran the car hard since it was new, my father inlaw owned it and never raced it. It works fine but I've never had a stock D5 before until i got this car and i was just wrong when i said it was a non lock up. I can assure you that it is in great working order or i would send your money back. How do I know the lock-up works on yours if you didn't even know you had it? I don't mean to be an ass, but that is the main point of me buying one of these.
Just for the heck..... I've got to ask if anyone else will give you the same offer to refund your money back if it's not locking up. I dought you will find to many people that will, and really pay you back. It's total up to you. there is not going to be that many D5 with only 58,000 actual miles on them. I drive the car most weekends and i think your missing out on a good deal if you ask me. And as far as a 100% sure......Its a used converter..... you never know what you are getting for sure until it's installed. You can only hope that the person that is selling it to you is honest. Good luck, I was just trying to help out a fellow Buick member in a bind.
