it was a old man and i just jumped the gun i thought i was in a pot of gold all i heard was non op 13 years i thought low miles jump on it

are you wanting to sell the motor or whole car?
it may be worth it to part it out........
the hot air motor is pretty inexpensive to rebuild....you can pick up a complete rebuild kit from summit with hyperutectic pistons for $450 bux....and a little work from you and a buddy you could have it going in no time! thats what i would do.....

before you do that pop the plugs out ,take a 15/16 socket and ratchet ,stick it on the balencer see if it will turn over by hand ,still no go drop the starter see if it still works ,while your doing that squirt a little tranny fluid in the plug holes and let it sit a few days, and dont force it with the ratchet ,just back and forth you might get lucky and freee it up.unless you allready tried everything and are convinced its dead ,it did sit over a decade. or if all else fails i got a 70 electra drop ,ill trade you lol:D. hope you figure it out ,george

Hey George i tried the manual turn on the crank pulley but the balancer moves if i explained wrong im sorry i really dont wrench i just admire my car dont drive much

I have used Marvels Mystery oil to free up stuck motors in the past. Put a bit in each cylinder through the spark plug hole, let is set for a few days, then use a breaker bar on the balancer nut. Just a small amount of rust where the rings meet the cylinder walls will keep it from turning. Marvels softens it up enough to get her turning again.

im confused i thought im supossed to try and turn crank shaft pulley

the crank shaft pulley is attached to the balancer, put the socket on the balancer bolt in the center and if the balancer moves back and forth it will spin with a good starter and plenty of juice.

i was moving the water pump pulley woops

just be patient and carefull not to much force or you will break a ring, and you might save the engine.who knows for how long but hey it might be fine:cool: and did it have coolant in the radiater?what did the oil look like ?and also for ease of turning it over take all the belts off incase shit is locked up ......
