I'm taking the tranny out to send my Vigilante ( non lock )back for a re-stall and have been kicking the idea around of having it made into a lock up single disk. The car is 80% street driven and is consistant 12.280 et. ( have since added a 3" dp so it should run faster). The non-lock valve that was used was one from ModernMusclecar and it was the one were you didn't have to drill the front pump. Is it worth switching back to lock up? What lock up valve would I need to get and any springs or check balls to add back or remove? And if I do, what kind of 1/4 gains could I expect? Last time out, with a 1.66 60', it ran 12.280 @ 106.6 that was before the new dp using the stock elbow, 20 psi with 23* timing and 93 octane and alky. Thanks!!!!!
