Engine is a stock 3.8L from an 87 GN. It has a FAST EFI controller that I installed and tuned for the past few years and all was well.

My issue is now after 1 year of sitting i can not get it to start. I have fuel and compression, but no spark.

Any ideas on what sequence of events I should do to troubleshoot. Please post any specific into, like which wires should have power to the coil pack, etc...

Thanks,
Dale

I figured it out with some help from Chris Lyons and Ray from R-Way Auto here in NE Ohio.

After swaping out a new coil pack, module, checking the FI with a noid light, and testing each of the module wires it ended up to be no output from the crank sensor. I swaped it out last night with another and now it starts up and runs fine.

Thanks,
Dale

Glad you were able to fix it yourself, good job.

Don't you just love the sensors on these cars, they can quit working just by leaving the car sit whether it's for a short time or a long period of time it makes no differance.

I had an ignition module go bad for no aparent reason,i drove the car the night before and it was running great, came home put the car in the garage about 11 pm go out the next morning and no start, traced it down to the ignition module.
