Need advice

Hi guys, im in the market to buy a new car and been looking at a couple from buicks to another stang 03 cobra. My friend and his family got me into the buicks, and they all have one. Anyways i was woundering how much could a stock block gn handle with all the works, upgraded pistons, crank etc. Only thing stock is actual block. Also will this car be streetable and what would u think it would run. This is going to be a project over years, but is it doable. My main concern is streetability cause i like to drive my cars also not only race them. I know 11s are fairly easily done on an almost stock gn and very streetable, but a 03 cobra is 10 sec performer and steetable. I live in El Paso TX. (Millitary familly) not to large but im tired of young kids that don't know what a real car is and are out beating the domestics with low 12 daily drivin civics.

That IS your real question.

There are way too many variables here, But I would say YES and easily.....WHY , because this is a Buick board. Ask the same question on a Mustang board and they'll say NO.
A stock 109 GN block with a proper tune should stay together easily with around 1,000 hp.
The GN is more rare and will be worth more down the road.
So YES, Buy a GN. :biggrin:

1badGT did you buy your crack pipe or do you borrow one? a 109 block holding together @ 1000hp? show us 1, just 1, 109 block that has made 1000hp. oh & lived to tell about it. hell, Dave Bamfords car don't even make that.
