I have an 87 grand national and the service engine light is coming on. Sometimes it will come on for a second and then go out, other times it stays on. The car misses and seems very sluggish when this happens.
Also alot of times the car will not start. Often it will start for a second and then die. I replaced the fuel pump and filter about one month ago and this seemed to fix the problem, with the exception of the service engine light. It ran for about 3 weeks after the fuel pump was put on.
I have a feeling it may be a sensor or relay but not sure. If anyone could help me with this I would be very grateful.
I live in the Hamilton, Ohio area. If anyone else is from this area I could get in contact with let me know.
