need ecm to indicate AC on with out ac

Dont have any AC or AC wiring in car , but need ECM to indicate AC on to set parameters in Maf Translator tuning.

Do you supply ground or positive to B8 plug of ECM ?

12 volts to B8.

Are you sure ?
I was also told ground to B8, & I would hate to melt the ECM that was borrowed for testing.

The ecm guy is pretty understanding......
I just double checked the wiring, it is going to a 12 volt source,through the switch and back to B8.
