Turbo, thanx for the kudos!! I've not gotten many "atta boys" here in the last little while!! Seems some folks are of the "politically correct" crowd and take offense to "direct" commentary!!
Glad the problem was found.
When you said the belt squeeled, that tripped the ol noggin to work and I remembered that same problem some yrs ago on my 86 T-Type "co. car"!!..
See, that's a good thing about "oldteimers".. Can't remember what I had for dinner, but can remember the alt failure in 86!!

Bob, actually the "memory loss" got me to where I have no need to remember the birthday or anniv!! I FORGOT that some wives have a low tolerence for hot rods and shop time and dragracing!! Therefore I had to make a choice of which was to go.. the cars or the wife.... EASY CHOICE!!! CARS WON HANDS DOWN!!!..
