I'm not sure what way to go on a turbo. I have a fresh buildup with a mild cam, forged pistons, stock heads that are ported and polished, oringed, 3 angle valve job. I'll be running 42.5# inj. with a walbro 340m and a stock rebuild trans with an art carr 2800 l/u and other various bolt-ons, etc. I can't decide on a turbo. I don't really want to go higher than a 60 series and I know there are a lot of new turbos out there. Any ideas or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dan

There's always the tried and true TA49/TE44 or if you wanted to use a little looser convert and slightly bigger injects you could try a PT61. Your convertor and injectors are the limiting factors right now as far as I can see.

Go w/ a John Craig TE-61 (6131E)
If you had a 3200 or more stall a 6152 would be better
You might be on the light side for injectors unless you have an Alky Kit

I would stick with the 44, 49, or the PT-51,52 turbos. They are the perfect size for your converter. Anything bigger and i think you will want more stall. Especially if this car sees alot of street action. Not sure what your goals are but plenty of people going fast on these turbos....especially with a good set of heads.

Thanks for the input guys, just bought a GT3255. Full throttle has good things to say about it, they claim it replaces the old TA49/TE44.
