need help fast may have goofed

Well getting ready to pull the heads beacuse i thought the car blew a head gasket when i relized the first nut from the front that holds the intake on is not on ,i just converted the mod and coil to the 87 setup will this one nut missing give me coolant in the oil like im seeing car runs fine never overheated but i checked the other day half gallon short coolant and coolant in the oil would this missing nut on the intake cause this , car runs good never saw any knock in the first place so i was wondering how i blew it lol

If that stud is missing or lose it can cause a potential leak of coolant into the oil. Do you mean the actual stud is missing, or just the 15mm nut that goes over the front drivers side stud to hold down the coil pack? If it is just the nut that holds down the coilpack onto the intake stud, no that will not cause a leak, as it is the actual intake stud beneath that holds down the intake. Does the car smoke white? That is usually a good indicator of a blown headgasket, although it is not always that obvious, they can seep internally also.

I think I'd put that nut back on, change the oil and see what happens. Might save a ton of work.
