Mobil 424 tractor fluid is my choice. (do a search for best info on Mobil 424)
Synthetic is to expensive, and can be to slippery for a fresh trans to work properly with. IMO, with the way they are built.
Other opinions may vary.

Suitable for commercial transmission applications requiring Type A (Suffix A), Dexron and Type F fluids. Do not use in passenger car automatic transmissions :confused:

It is compatible with Dexron, etc but isn't legal for pass car trans because it isn't red.
ATF must be dyed red by fed laws.
 
I'm only going 2 run Type F when my Trans is done. No more $9 a quart redline synthetic. Was probably hurting shift firmness.
