Hello I want to replace all my bushings, but I'm not sure how many there are. I called the dealership and they sold me 7 bushings and 3 washers. Can someone tell me how many there are and where they go.

Bushings

Call PST. They have a complete set, including the GNX bushings in their kits.
Energy Suspension also makes a kit.
Go to gnttype.org. There's an archived article on how to do it.
There's about 7 on each side. You will most likely find some of the original pieces gone...

BUSHING OPTIONS

Just in case you don't like the squeaks that perpetually emanate from poly bushings (PST), here's another option for you:

www.kirbanperformance.com

ALL the original GM bushings, plus the "missing" & the GNX bushings for around 250.00

Also has fresh bolts for the above.

HTH :)

JUST BUY THE ENERGY SUSPESION POLY BUSHINGS FOR $125
RATHER THEN PAY $250 THROUGH KIRBAN!
$250 FOR STANDARD RUBBER BUSHINGS GIVE ME A BREAK THEY ARE NOT MADE OUT OF GOLD! THATS JUST MY OPINION :D

I HAVE USED THE POLY BUSHINGS ON 2 OF MY TURBO REGALS I NOTICED NO DIFFERENCE WITH NOISE, SQEAKS, ETC...
NO PROBLEMS WITH THEM OR COMPLAINTS.
THE ENERGY SUSPENSION KIT INCLUDES ALL THE HARDWARE, UPPER AND LOWER BUSHINGS AND ALSO THE GNX BUSHINGS.

I SUGGUST YOU DO YOUR HOMEWORK BEFORE STARTING THIS PROJECT, IF YOU HAVE NEVER DONE THEM BEFORE. THERE ARE PROBLEMS THAT YOU CAN RUN INTO, YOU JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT AND DEAL WITH THEM, THE MAJOR PROBLEM IS RUST!
THEY ARE EASY TO DO IF THE CAR HAS NO OR VERY LITTLE RUST BUT IF ITS RUSTY IT GETS TRICKY.

HERE'S SOME TECH TIPS ON HOW TO DO THIS.
THIS IS NOT THE ONLY WAY TO DO IT, I DO IT DIFFERENTLY...... BUT THIS WAY WORKS TOO.

What was your way of doing this project?? I'm looking at doing this myself and I'm anticipating Murphy's Law. The more ways I know to do it, the better luck I'll have.

Thanks.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'm going with the PST polygraphite bushings. That link to the step by step process was cool too very informative.

THX again:D
