My T/C is not loocking up and to troubleshoot the problem I want to wire a temporary circuit to bypass the ecm and brake pedal switch. Basically I want to apply the 12v and ground to the lock up solenoid to see if the problem is in the trans or in the wiring or other hardware. Which pins do I use on the trans connector to make this possible. Thanks Steve

I dont think you can bypass the brake switch. Just hook up a switch to the top right and left ALDL ports and turn it on. Then turn on the key and pull the four prong plug from the tranny. Use a tester and see if the purple wire has juice. If it does not then your brake switch is out of adjustment or bad. If there is juice might be a bad solenoid

Look closely at the connector body on your harness and you'll see that the terminals are labeled A, B, C & D. You want to apply 12V to A and ground terminal D to force TCC apply.

IMO, it would be easier to simply verify the presence of 12V at terminal A by probing it with a meter w/ the key on-engine off. If there's nothing there, you'll know where to start searching for a solution.
