Need Help

Any tranny gurus available this evening? I have a rattling noise coming from my new 9.5 Vigilante convertor when it's in park. The noise goes away when it's in gear or you rev the motor. Can anyone help me on this one? Thanks

The multiple-disc LU converters have been known to have the clutches rattle. You'd do best to contact Precision Industries directly tomorrow and ask them about it.

That way, if it is deemed to be a problem, they'll have the opportunity to correct it.

I contacted Precision today and they said it was "normal" for the multi disk to make this sound. Doesn't effect reliability or performance. If I had know this before hand I might have selected another convertor.
