Need info about Art Carr

What year did Art sell his business and what year did he start making converters for the TR's again? My pop has a chance to pick up a 9" for a good price, it is dated July 2000...I'm wondering if this is a "Real" Art Carr converter?

I don't think its an art carr. I bought mine in 99 and it was not. I remember buying it out of Nevada under the art carr name at the time. converter has performed worse than stock
