Hello I am new to this site, as I have been occupied on the subaru forums for the past 3 years. i am looking at some cars not locally, as there are NONE here, and some one ebay. Can someone please help me alittle I just want to go out and but every damn built GN that i see. Can someone please talk some sense into me, or is this possibly wise if dont cautiously? Ill post some links to cars im interested in.

Welcome........My advice is read up and shop before you buy.

Theres alot of info on these cars to be learned. A good recource for that is http://www.gnttype.org/ when the home page opens up go to 4th drop down bar on the right under "RECOURCES" there's alot of techinal info, etc... in there. There are also numerous books available on these cars too.

Not sure if your set on a GN or not but my T-type is currently on e-bay. The t-types are just like the GN's just optioned diffently paint, etc... The car is really rare in its color and options. It also has been practically completely rebuilt. The car is mildly built should run low 12's high 11's in race trim with the combo on it. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=6137&item=2497607245&rd=1

Thanks, good luck in your search for a Turbo Regal ;)

hey thanks grand nash, i have actually seen your car on ebay, and read the auction, looks like a really nice one.

About my knowledge on buicks I think i know most of what a buick future owner should, I have a lot of general knowledge about them, and have many friends who own, and race GN's and T-types. They are absolutely the king ofthe street when it comes to straight line racing!

I am looking at a few on ebay, and the modified ones are allways catching my eye, like THIS ONE that has a fully built power train, and runs a 10 second 1320 allready, or THIS ONE with a milder build, but is way more affordable.

My question is this... Am i just asking for trouble buying an allready modded GN? or should i buy a 7-8 thousand dollar GN or t-type, stock, and modify it myself?
