I'm very close to ordering one of these jewels, but I wanted some info from the 'GURU's first. Other than the "usual" bolt-ons, here is my combo:
1)Full weight '87 GN hardtop w/ 220# driver (Total = ~3650#)
2)TE-61 turbo w/PTE .63 housing
3)24-row, stock location i/c with 3" in/out
4)Champion ported intake and iron heads
5)SP 204/214 camshaft
6)THDP 3" w/dump
7)Dual 'XP' fuel pumps/72# FI's
8)VP C-16 gas and 24-27# boost w/24* timing
I am leaning towards a 3,200 stall 9 X 11 because I was told that the 3,200 thru 3,600 use the same stator. That way, I could bump it up to a 3,600 if I felt that it was too tight. I may also upgrade to a PT-70 turbo within the next 6 months. When choosing a t/c, I don't like one that hurts streetability too much. This car will be 75% street/25% track.
Any suggestions???? Part numbers please.
